Something about S3K (being too long unless you divide it into two games, some levels too gimmicky) makes me not feel replaying it like I do for other sonic games, beyond the first level which is pretty elaborate and cool for a first level. So I'd say SMW which is a marvelous game.

S3&K all the way, but I appreciate SMW all the same.
