I'm generally indifferent to it, but scraping spear was probably the worst design decision ever in a multiplayer game of any genre.

I understand the aspect of balancing one players fun vs. anothers in a multiplayer game (actually wrote a paper on it in college). Scraping spear was so unbalanced it actually forced many people to stop playing online until the other guy just gave up and went away, it was way overboard.

I don't consider following the rules of the game griefing, it's just winning. 1v1 scraping spear is fine by me, causing glitches that don't allow people to progress is pretty bullshit.

Those old TF2 griefing videos were amazing. Griefing is great if done properly. But there's a certain tact to it that some people don't get. It's like how a lot of people on YouTube don't understand what a prank is and instead mistake it for just being an asshole.

Stream sniping is fine. Steamers bring it on themselves. But the above still qualifies. At least try to make the sniping funny.

I think DanielfromSL does it perfectly. He acts like he's oblivious to what he's doing while also acting extremely calm and disconnected from what's happening.

I don't mind if the devs gave other players means ot deal with allies griefing (e.g. vote kicks). Enemies can't really grief. Either they're bettee than you or cheatinf/using exploits which should (again, responsibility if the devs) result in a ban.

The concept itself is immature by nature. People getting upset by it are kids and people doing it are also either kids or pubescent teens with power fantasies.

There's some funny videos out there but most of the time it's annoying at best.

Zerging is boring from either perspective(zerger or zerged) because you don't even know if you killed someone or not. It's just stupid kill bandwagon. That's my biggest complain about ESO pvp. Small skirmishes are way better but way rarer too.

It depends. The only time I can think of it really being annoying is when people would go Medic in TF2 and only heal their favourite streamers.

I'm all for making people mad but it has to happen on even grounds. So what I do should be possible to anyone and not involve cheats or something. Otherwise the salt is cheap and doesn't taste good.
Same with killing people with OP classes in some games, it's easy and the madness it causes feels meh.

The idea is that you're more likely to interact with a person genuinely just going through the game. Rather than a guy waiting for you with his 4 buddies or a guy casting the first of his six buffs as you load in.

I have real trouble finding people either to invade or get summoned by when I go there.

It shouldn't be too hard, since the area is right after a boss, meaning the host always enters it embered. Unless they just croaked on their own and died to some skeletons on their own before you could invade.
