Haven't been a consolefag since X360, so didn't play the first, but I enjoyed Halo 1-3. Excited for some lootershooter grinding with the boys on PC.

Never played Destiny and by the time I wanted to try it out it's years old with tons of content and it's too overwhelming to get into. Might try 2. I don't mind a nice comfy loot grind. What sets it apart?

as long as I can look like a gundam I'm in, but I am cautious about PvP on the PC, I think it's gonna end up like PC Gears of War where borderline psychic autists with snipers just dominate every match.

I played it on PS4 already and didn't like it. I hated the gameplay in Destiny, and the gameplay seemed pretty much unchanged; or at least the things I didn't like were unchanged. The only thing that's potentially appealing to me now is the story which I don't have confidence in given how hard they dropped the ball the first time around.

Destiny was my guilty pleasure. I could lose a lot of time replaying the content because the gameplay was so fluid. Really the only thing that pissed me off about D1 was the outrageous DLC.

I'm mad that pc gets it like 50 days later when all the launch content will have been spoiled and all strategies will be well known. Multiplayer pve games are much more enjoyable when you don't have an autist who looked up the fights in advance telling you optimum strats.

As a PC gamer this is the one console series that I am excited for, but reading people's posts worries me. I liked the concept of Borderlands but hated the graphics/"""humour""", i liked Halo. PC needs more shooters to compete in popularity with CSGO and BF1. Nobody fucking plays anything else but shit mods like Pubg

Will people still play Destiny 1 you think? I'm on PS4 and still need to go through Rise of Iron. I put a little over 1.5k hours in, and then got burned out. I bought Rise of Iron but never played it.

8:14 is fucking heaven. Michael Salvatori is clearly taking cues from O'Donnel and I absolutely love it.
As for the game, the gameplay from 1 had me hooked already so more of that obviously. 2nd would be an actual campaign this time around. No clue what the quality will be like but the first level of the beta was a massive improvement from 1's. Next would be the fact I can still raid and be an antisocial fuck, and the fact clans are a lot more obvious. Glad we can trade now. And the lost sector thing sounds real neat.
Overall my expectations are in check, but as someone who already liked 1 I'm pretty excited already. One of the few games that's just as fun alone or with friends and 2 looks like they're making it better for both groups. All I really want for it is to just be good day 1. Destiny feels more like Halo than any 343 game could possibly hope to reach

Played the first game and it was grindy bullshit. Played the demo story missions and strike and felt bored as shit the entire time. Wouldn't even play if it was a gift.
