It's ok, but I wouldn't put it high up on the AA tier list. Had a pretty good cast though, with Lang and Badd being the best. The biggest crime it committed was not making Cammy Melee a recurring character instead of the usual "Busty chick is the murderer because we hate boobs" shtick.

The problem here I think was they hadn't established much of how the actual murder happened up to his point, so a lot of it is figuring what actually happened to prove it was Alba, like the connected reservoirs and the dressing room stuff.

Investigations was the first game I played in the series, and is probably my favourite. But fuck the proto badger, it still unnerves me to this day.

Last case in particular is awful. Bad guy says one additional comment he didn't need to say and further incriminates himself rinse and repeat. Literally just had to shut the fuck up and they couldn't do shit. Also shit case.

If nothing else, replay it for all the unique game overs it has. Depending on the mode (investigation, rebuttal, etc.) and depending on where you are in the case, you get a different game over, and I think the first case alone has at least 4-10 different game over dialogues.
