Is your farm fully autistic, or do you play more practically without making things look pretty?
I currently am doing things very haphazardly, and dont aim in any sense for uniqueness or visual pleasure. Its all about that money making. Alternatively, does having a nice orderly "with purpose" design make earning money easier?

Why? What happens when you get maximum money? Do people do this as a means of getting the high score in their own head?
It reminds me of a friend who was playing Cookie Clicker at DnD and even when someone else told him the cheat code for infinite cookies he still kept clicking
Totally
how does this game compare to most Harverst Moons in terms of gameplay?

It's a love letter to Harvest Moon but is different enough in it's own right. Has A LOT of content to explore and interact with.
If you liked Harvest Moon at all this game will be fun for you.

this is basically what i do. Only now recently am i organizing my coop and barn, and slime hutch to be more cohesive, to make less walking for me during the morning. Ive just got chests with shit in it that i dont need.
It was probably autistic back then, but I haven't played much since just before the new batch of updates which added a whole bunch of buildings.
The basic fences were just there to check how the fencing would look like before I go and commit to putting in hardwood fences.
