where would the sensor go?

Those buttons are way too sunk in. It looks annoying to hit B and rip claw grip on that. But i'm really interested in how many times can you transform it before the hinge or lock gives out. It's also gonna fuck you on the handful of games that let you use mouse and controller at the same time.

What would the device be recognised as by the PC? Is it possible for it be recognised as a mouse and a gamepad depending on which mode it's in?

From what I can see it's just a mockup of a design someone thought looked cool. The only source I can find is a product design magazine that only has a submitter name and zero other information.

The controller looks like the most uncomfortable shit ever and it'd be annoying to have to change modes when swapping games. Why not buy an old 360 controller like literally everyone else?
