The game looks neat, I'm interested in it but I just can't bring myself to play a game of that style with a controller. Pretty much all the PS4 games I own are beat em ups and adventure games with no manual aim required. I really wish consoles would get mouse and keyboard support as an option. It bugs the absolute fuck out of me when I'm playing a game where I have to aim something with an analog stick constantly.

The first 40 mins are an absolute slog. You play as a little girl doing all the tutorial stuff. It's so fucking boring and plays like shit, cluttered UI, the list goes on. I can't see myself picking it back up again.

Other than that open boarders everyone is welcome city and interracial couples everywhere I haven't seen much else. I don't consider a female lead or a white guy being the bad guy as agenda pushing. The matriarchal society seems pretty retarded too, so if they were trying to push that as how society should be they didn't do the idea any favors.

It's one of those games that borrows heavily from allot of various open world ideas that have been prevalent for the last console generation and a half, but it executes them all well, looks pretty damn good, and has a neat art direction with the robots and has a few other neat ideas sprinkled in. It's pretty fun when you fight big machines before you're easily able to take them.

The first time I fought a bellowback was great but by the late game you can freeze bomb and then drop 3 hardpoint arrows at once and they just fall over.

It's incredibly forgettable.

I say no. Played it for 16 hours and dropped it. It looks really pretty and has some good animations and some nice aesthetics but that's it. Nothing about the combat or exploration is satisfying and the story and characters are awful.

I'm playing fucking Ghost in the Shell on PS1 right now and that game is more fun to play because it actually has satisfying and fun gameplay. Even Skyrim in terms of role playing, exploration, atmosphere, and combat is better than Horizon.
