There are actually a few gems on Roblox that are actually fun to play, but get overshadowed by games on the front page like Meepcity and Adopt and Raise a cute kid. Cancerous community filled with 8 year old kids dating and acting as if they are above all. Tix got removed so you can no longer customize your character unless you go to a sponsored event or give Roblox your sweet shekels. Admins don't give a shit about the state the games in and instead of improving the reporting feature which doesn't work at all, they focus on unnecessary shit like ruining the chat filter and and pic related. So long story short, Roblox used Erik Cassel's death as a means to complete fuck their shit up. 2008-2010 was the prime of Roblox where you can find a new game on the front page every few days and wouldn't have to worry about online daters or entitled children, most importantly, it was free.

I started playing it back in 2007. Was really fun at the time. Made a lot of friends and was pretty well known on the forums, which is what introduced 12 yr old me to 4chan.

Once user transactions became a thing, me and a couple buddies ran a "tradehouse" where we scammed children on a daily basis. Made around $600 in virtual currency over the course of 2 years. Good memories. Got a lot of hats. Became a Roblox god in the eyes of my peers. Got banned around the time the trading system was introduced.

It was pretty gay desu

I still remember 2010 when saying "shit" could get you banned for 3 days.

The only difference is that Roblox has less games than real life, and most of them require more than 2 people or something similar. I can think the Adventure Forward series as an exception.

Unfortunately, yes. in most cases, it's ruining the quality of the games on the site. A game that has been on the front page for many months has a copy of CS:GO's case/key system, where you buy keys with your robux. They're just cashgrabs that are blatantly stolen ideas.

Another one of the top page games is pokemon, and while the devs made a nice map and story, the entire battle scenes and everything are stolen directly from the real games. There's also microtransactions in this one as well, surprise surprise

Didn't get the green one because my friend was the one who bought it for me when we made the account at his house and I didn't really start playing much until a couple months later. Yeah, I played a pretty good one recently for Roblox standards, Shard Online. Only problem is it lacks skills and healing items as well as doesn't give much content. World is great, UI is great, movement is okay. That reminds me of another thing that bothers me is that most RPGs are you have to use up like 90% of your health to kill the first monster. I remember reaching 3000+ survivals over the span of like 3 years only to find that my shit got rolled back to 1k about 2 years ago. I haven't bothered playing since then because the grind is boring as fuck. I usually played it to kill time during my free periods in high school, now that that's over I don't feel the mood to pull out my phone and do the monotonous grinding I found to be super comfy as a teenager.

I remember seeing people with like 25k+ survivals, and I thought these guys must have been playing for years. I've since forgotten what the highest record is at now.
