In any game with a moral choice system or one where you can choose your characters actions to a certain degree, I always play good and hate being evil. When I did my evil playthroughs of the Infamous games, I skipped all the cutscenes and rushed through the game as fast as possible so the characters I liked wouldn't be mad at me.

The Last of Us is my favorite game followed by Half-Life 2 and Ocarina of Time. I also think HL2 is far, far better than 1
I've played through Human Revolution five or six times. I played the tutorial level of the original and dropped it because it seemed like a slog to get through
I love Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask, but can’t stand any other game in the Zelda series. Twilight Princess is alright, though
I played through DMC1 once and disliked it despite playing through 3 and 4 countless times.
I’ve purchased and thoroughly enjoyed every game in the God of War franchise
I pretty much exclusively play Mercy/Lucio and mute team/voice chat in Overwatch because it's the only role I'm good at and getting berated by my teammates when I fuck up damages my ego. I shit on my team if they fuck up, though, and I managed to make it to Master ran the past three seasons
The only RE games I've played are 4, 5, 6, and 7 and I have no intention of playing any of the older games
I used SAM to get a bunch of achievements in MGR and DMC4 to make people think I was good at the game
Given the opportunity, I will play as a chick. I played the entirety of MGSV as an S++ female solider and made most of my soldiers women thanks to Cheat Engine.
I played through FEAR 2 three times but gave on the first one after 2 hours
I watch Oney Plays, Super Mega, and sometimes Game Grumps.
I have over 300 hours in Left 4 Dead 2, 99% of which is solo play.
I cheat all the time in online multiplayer games. I get destroyed if I don’t have it and deny like hell if anyone calls me out. I pubstomped in TF2 for years with LMAOBox and would send all the items I got from that account to my main account
I’ve become so desperate for attention that I get a weird sense of pleasure from getting really negative responses to my opinions. I genuinely believe all of them, though.

I haven't even played Bloodborne and I hate anyone who didn't like its atmosphere. I can tell from the reviews/various screenshots/short video snippets I've seen that its dark atmosphere is top tier.

I've played all the Dark Souls games. Couple knowledge of those with what I've seen of Bloodborne and what I know about it (gothic horror/Lovecraftian) there's a zero percent chance it doesn't have one of the greatest atmospheres ever.

Gameplay alone doesn't hold my interest anymore. If you can't give me a compelling reason to do something other than "because it's fun" i won't stick with your game, if i even play it at all, for long. And i lay the blame for this solely at the feet of CDP. Ever since the end of Witcher 3 last year i can't enjoy purely gameplay focused games anymore. I need a good story, engaging characters and a strong narrative. Even Doom 4 and XCOM2 bored me to tears towards the end.

Man, why couldn't they just fill this game with a victorian gothic setting, that takes place in one night and has a dark oppressive atmosphere that bathes in all things Lovecraft with brightful colors? I would even make the art style cartoonish. That would obviously be more fitting, just like Persona 3~5 "pow!" and "bang!" pop-ups would.

I gave up Persona 5 at the space Palace. The first palace was fantastic, but the game just kept declining in quality after that to the point where I stopped playing. The characters just weren't nearly as interesting to me as the ones in 4 or even 3, and the villains were all terrible 2D archetypes after Kamoshida.

Plus it really bothered me how Futaba went from not leaving her room for a year while suffering vivid hallucinations to a relatively well adjusted mental state over the course of hanging out with the protagonists 3 times.

I can't consider a game as GOTY or anything over a 7/10 if you can't go barefoot/has poorly designed block feet with glued together toes. Its a sign of a poor quality dev team. You can easily tell love was not put into the game and it ends up being a failure and a bad game. You can tell it will a great game and amazing GOTY material if the feet are well designed and if its made by japs. Feet are a very important thing for me in games. You literally cannot refute this. A game with bad feet is a shit game. There is literally no good game with poorly designed feet.

I've played everything from C&C, duke3d, fallout, baldurs gate and resident evil to half life, counter strike and dragon age. Bayonetta is one of those games i'd want to watch because i find the setting interesting and the characters compelling and not play since it's all button mashing and that's not fun. Same with Last of Us and all the other Sony exclusive movie games. If those had dialogue choices and a branching story that would be something different but following a linear path with some combat sprinkled in feels like i'm on museums tour with the guide blabbering on about the exhibition pieces.

I'd love to play Warren Spectors 1-Block game where the whole world is just one block but you can open every door and talk to every person you see and have an impact of everyones lives. But that is never going to get made since it's way too ambitious.

I love the Batman: Arkham games even though I recognize that the combat is pretty casual and doesn't really hold a candle to anything with good melee combat. And Arkham Knight was my favorite game in the series, even though I thought it'd hate it because I spoiled myself on various elements of the game beforehand, like it's lack of boss fights.

What type of aesthetics do you enjoy in games my friend?

As person who enjoys horror, edgy emo stuff and gothic architecture and furniture, Bloodborne pretty much gives me hard on.

But I feel you, flipping that is true for me - an appealing artstyle/atmosphere can get me to touch a game I'd otherwise never play on its merits elsewhere. Gust games are a good example of this.

Funny, I'm the exact opposite. I love grinding in some games. Shit like Monster Hunter and lots of turn-based JRPGs are right up my alley because of the fact that there's a slow progression of experience and equipment. I love that shit. Which is weird because yeah, on the surface it's incredibly boring and I can fully understand why people hate it. But if it's done right, for me at least, that cycle is awesome.

I love Senran Kagura only for the silly boob physics, I dislike playing on hard mode, I like skullgirls for the history, Dangan ronpa is cool
