I will never understand people complaining about jump spammers in any shooter. It's way easier to aim at jumping targets and usually jumps make them less accurate. Only exception is double jumps.

You have significantly less control over your momentum while you're in the air in this game. Overwatch has absolutely no movement acceleration whatsoever (god forbid this becomes an actual thing in other shooters), so standing on the ground spamming ADAD/Crouch is much more effective

To put it simply, jumping is better against projectiles while rapidly changing your direction (staying on the ground) is better against hitscans.
