It was only shit because they gave you no option to get the countries back if they fucked you with RNG.

Long War fixes this but unfortunately it fucks up the rest of the game.

Honestly dude, you might just be bad. There's a bunch of other things that can piss you off in the game but you should be prepared for satellite rush after your first game over.

>weapon durability
>inventory space is tied to a stat and is unreasonably low unless you statdump
>menu navigation is actually more difficult than the gameplay/combat itself
>game puts all it's eggs in one basket and has way too many options for keybinds to where you can't comfortably use the fair majority of them without sacrificing things
>game audio is an obvious afterthought that doesn't work well with the gameplay
