It's because Doomfist by design leaves you dead centre in the middle of the enemy team, so unless you're good with your abilities you are good as dead

because unlike roadhog, who gets to pull enemies into relative safety, playing doomfist well means you have to run like an absolute retard into the middle of a team and if you aren't good you get blown up

He's a big target that anyone should be able to hit.
Also Doomfist isn't really a sneaky hero, Reaper's wait for the opportunity to go in when the enemy team is too busy to focus.
While most people playing Doomfist go in on the front lines with their team.
