I've been playing it.

It's a shame there's hardly anyone else playing it because it's very fun.

The constant steam community discussions calling the game dead don't help either.

It's not my cup of tea but I think it still has a small chance to live. It depends on how quick they are with keeping new content coming out and how well they can spin them shifting into free to play. They need to do both fast or it is dead.

It really just looks ugly. I think that's a large part of it's problem. Overwatch for example, whatever you think of it, looks sleek and visually appealing. Sold half the copies on that alone.

Law Breakers has a really gay name and looks kinda gross at first glance. This coupled with Cliffy B's offstandish bro "I'm not Cliffy B anymore" attitude and them assuming the Team Shooter was a bandwagon worth riding all spells out failure.

I'm actually surprised by it because it is really good. I liked the ninja gameplay and the Titan, but most of all the Juggernaut armoring up and pushing people off cliffs by charging at them and insta gibbing them with the Bayonet

No marketing and genre fatigue. It says it is like a classic arena shooter but it has no TDM or DM modes or player servers.

Also, the game is only neat about 50% of the time, most of the maps involve heavy indoor sections with no run button and you need to stand in a shower for a few seconds to heal.

You know what I love about Titanfall 2 is not only how actually straight line fast can you get by sliding and mantaining momentum but how much of quick thinking and tactical can get without getting as slow as, say, Siege.

Weapons are hitscan and proyectile based and have strengths and weaknesses that can play to your advantage like saturating a corridor with balls of energy from the L-STAR, throw a gravity shuriken into a corner to trap chasers, curve an EPG shot with it, or launch yourself in the air with the many physics based movement and switch to a pistol and do something mid air to land into a friendly Titan and stuff. There's SO MANY tools at your disposal each match that your personal skill ceiling is always evolving and trying new combos. Even if you're a slow fatty guy like the A-Wall you can still do well and dominate in a match where there are tryhards flying around with the correct loadout and tactics and quick thinking.

I fucking love Titanfall 2. The only broken thing were the hitscan SMGs because all of the above was rendundant with such low TTK but now that they've been nerfed and Frontier Defense added it's the fucking best MP shooter game in the decade and a must play to anyone.

Also going fast is fun, the point is it's not really the only thing going on.

I'm sincerely enjoying it.
I don't expect it to sell like gangbusters or take the overwatch audience or anything, but the gameplay is very dynamic.
On one map, the entire map is floating. So something I like to do as Assassin is let myself fall under the map and then use the whip to swing underneath the map and come up behind the enemy team's base. I got a quadruple kill like that after popping my ult it was almost unfair.
I feel like this game has some impressive potential, and it is fun.
I dunno, I think i'll get my money's worth of fun and time out of it, but I probably won't be playing in a month, maybe not even in a few weeks when Absolver comes out, although I probably won't be playing that for more than a week or two when Destiny 2 comes out.
It's a fun distraction in a slow time of releases. I like it. I won't tell you to buy it, or even give more than maybe a 6 or 7 out of ten, but it's fun. I feel like if this came out before Overwatch, people would treat Overwatch the way this game is being treated.

It has/had potential, and it is fun, it's just a shame. I would have liked to see it be succesful, but that's obviously not going to happen. Maybe when the F2P update comes out in a few months or so, it'll stabalize as a good overwatch alternative for poorfags and f2p babbies that's not shit.
I'm just kind of sad. About it, but whatever. I feel like if it was published by Sony, or Microsoft, hell, even Ea, or something, it might have had the money to market it, or add more maps and game modes or something. I feel like being tied to Nexon is what killed it more than anything. It's not dead yet but It'll have maybe a few months or so left. And quite frankly, I've gotten less enjoyment, less time, and a smaller user base for twice as much the money.

The realistic and derivative sci-fi style didn't really do them any favors in terms of differentiating the game from recent shooters like Call of Duty and Titanfall 2. I started the thread with kinda clickbait because if I didn't (like always) replies can't be made. That how conditioned all of you are. Still I liked the game and I think I will keep on playing it until whatever happens or i'm bored with it. It's by no means bad, actually quite the opposite.
