it looks very clean and sharp, the textures are high res but has obvious as fuck tiling. pretty much as expected. controls feels so nice after being used to 3DS cramped controls. big screen and surround sound is nice

I'm just worried that I'm going to finally cave a few months from now, despite wanting to wait for a localization that may or may not come because FUCK playing in moon if I can avoid it, only for Capcom to pull a 180 on their localization statements and announce an English version like a week later.

A simple "Yes, it'll happen eventually just wait" or even a flat out "It's not happening, import if you want it" would be preferable.

The series shifted focus to the PSP and later the 3DS for a reason faggot. Monster Hunter on the go is the best Monster Hunter. The Switch is obvious successor and potentially best platform for the Monster Hunter franchise, since the Vita is dead in the water. I mean fuck, the hardware's ability to swap instantly between playing handheld and on the TV is literally the natural evolution of what they were trying to do with 3U's save transfer software a few years ago. Consolefags get to play on a big screen with a controller and 1080p graphics, portablefags get to play on the go with a big screen and two analog sticks with graphics higher than 240p. It's literally perfect for Monster Hunter, every single fan of the series wins, and it'll be a real shame if it never get's it own Monster Hunter game. It'd be such a waste of potential.

Unless Sony put's out a successor to the Vita that is stronger than the Switch with it's own kind of crossplatform features. That might also be a viable/acceptable home for the series too.

I doubt it'll happen anytime soon though.
