I've never bothered to try and set up FightCade before, how troublesome is it compared to the average emulator?

I have Fightcade and already have a couple of games on it, including Vsav, but I'm complete shit at playing on a keyboard. I'm a poorfag playing on a laptop who can't afford whatever a fightstick or whatever you need to play on pad atm, so I'm pretty much stuck on keyboard. Which is a damn shame, since I really do want to try my hand at Vsav and the other games I have.

Also my problem is, there's no training mode with the games that I have. I'd love to go to a training mode and just practice but I can't.

How easy is it to set up retropie with ROMs? Thinking of turning my Chromebook into an emulator device

Look for cheat files, they can set up a training mode. If it's a Neo-Geo game, set its dip switches to console mode, but don't forget to put it back on arcade mode before going online

Want to get into Darkstalkers, i was thinking about playing the PS1 version of 3 cause it has the 3 characters removed, or should i just play Savior 2 on MAME? Cannot play on fightcade bacause some router ports problem
