I'd recommend any of the Pokemon series as well as Red Rescue Team if you want a story from that as well. I'd also recommend any of the Mario Advance series if you want a Mario game but my favorite is Mario Advance 2 since it has Super Mario World in it. I'd also recommend a Metroid game if you're the type. Boktai series, Breath of Fire I and II, fucking get the Classic NES Series games because there's a whole buncha good ports. I could go on and on.

oh please. The SP was great for its time because of the backlit screen but the shape was horrendous. It was so small and narrow, holy fuck it was extremely fucking uncomfortable and unpleasant to play on for too long, at least if you have man hands.

I'd probably prefer a regular GBA for that alone.

The rules were unfair, but the game was fun as fuck regardless and I'm not gonna allow anyone to shit on it. The ability learning system of FFT games is unique and so fucking fun compared to other similar games, where characters are locked into jobs, and where you acquire skills passively by leveling up, etc - so fucking boring.
The item system and the variety of fun jobs with fun skills made the game so fucking great. Shame they ruined fucking everything in FFTA2 by making weapons so fucking scarce in the beginning, making battles extremely fucking slow, ruining how SP and spells in general work, ruining how hitting from the side/back works, etc etc
