I honestly felt the same way until I played robobot. the main game wasn't super amazing but the endgame stuff was fun as hell and actually somewhat challenging. was worried about whether I'd like it since I'm not the biggest kirby fan but I have no regrets after playing it. Not trying to amp it up too much. I just had a lot of fun

I can appreciate what amazing mirror was trying to do but I think it just failed at pulling it off. super frustrating that I had to go back to the hub because I missed the entrance to a hidden boss

that weird difficulty spike at the end didn't make sense to me either. all of the bosses were piss easy and then the last boss took me a shit ton of tries to beat. really weird.
