Nice pic. To answer your question, it complement well with the fact that you are locked in position when using 360 aiming and allow for much more aggressive enemies, making the game more interesting.

when it's just the same hard mode from the base game but with 4 times as much enemy damage

Almost no one hate it. hard mode mean enemies does more damage and are harder to do. this is literally what all the hard setting do in most videogame. But suddenly, it has become trendy to dislike that.
