Also, reminder that unlike Trilogy, this one has AMAZING spritework. Straight up upgrade over DS version, they didn't remove animation frames either like it was the case in Trilogy (mid-animations for blinking and mouths were missing, as in half-open/half-closed eyes/mouth animations were gone in Trilogy).

GBA and DS version of original three AA games have more animation frames.
The 3DS/Mobile "Trilogy" release, removed ALL the mid-frame sprites, so stuff like eye blinking for example which was made up of 3 frames on GBA and DS (eyes open, eyes half-closed, eyes closed) was reduced to just 2 frames in the 3DS/Mobile "Trilogy" version (eyes open, eyes closed).
It was extremely jarring, same issue also applied to mouth movement.
Also the artworks were just lazily scanned from the original artwork instead of being redrawn, so they look like ass as they're old and were never meant to be viewed in higher resolution.

This however didn't scan anything, but had everything literally redrawn from scratch and with all the frames, making it A LOT better than the Trilogy release.

As such, objectively best versions are DS for AA1-3 and the Edgeworth games and 3DS for AA4.

AA4 is trash, by far the worst PW game even counting spinoffs. Should have just left it forgotten.

What would Capcom need to do to top Spirit of Justice? Dual Destinies was pretty lame, but Spirit of Justice starring Apollo "The Absolute Madman" Justice I felt was a leap in the right direction.
