honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that i have pretty much everything unlocked due to sheer playtime, i wouldn't bother with the game, and i definitely wouldn't start playing from scratch.

It's basically the same game as smite, just with Diablo controls instead of Smite's pseudo-3D third person thing. Smite copied LoL's formula almost to a point so you shouldn't have that much trouble moving over, it even has the same shitty forced lane meta.

I played this game constantly for like 3 years straight, getting serious with it taught me how to approach video games, like how to isolate what skills are needed for certain games/roles and things like that.

I don't play it anymore but this game is a classic, don't care what /v/ says. A lot less clunky to play than Dota, it feels very satisfying to play, and the devs are the most vocal I've ever seen.

I even enjoyed the competitive scene for a few years and continued watching for a while after I stopped playing entirely. Haven't really followed it in over a year though.

I was an Elise main from her release until the point I quit, with Lee Sin as my backup. Jungle over course. I only ever reached diamond 5 in ranked but I never played it much, I was satisfied with diamond because I knew I wouldn't get challenger.

The main issue I had when trying to learn SMITE (Ive only played FPS's, so it's been quite a learning curve for me) is that I feel the items you buy are very important, and I never understood how to buy for my character.

And also looking at the enemies items and remembering about it during the game. That and knowing which lane to play in and when to go help teammates and just generally what characters to look out for.

I had like 2000 matches clocked in but then one day I was playing a match with my best friend and got so fucking mad for some stupid reason and quit the game. The game just brings out the worst of me and I don't even know how it does that.
I love fighting games and never even bat an eye and anything frustrating in them, but league is a whole different level of maddening.

I actually tried getting to bronze 5, trolling all the way through provisionals picking Draven adc and never leveling Q once. Went 5-5 and placed Silver 3, I will never for the life of me figure out how people manage to sink that low.

Owning a lane as Anivia is pretty easy. Wall the enemy ADC from CS, always apply stun pressure. You can be a real fucking pain if you want to be.
I think it might actually be a good idea to build tear on support Anivia as well as they usual support gold item and sightstone. The thing with support Anivia is that she'd never be as strong as if she just went mid and built normal AP items.

Did you know that teleport isn't cancelled out when she turns into an egg? both have similar cool-downs too. Typically i get tear first but then build rod of ages first. If the ADC is pure trash i just treat bot like an easier mid lane. I never max the support item and sell it roughly about when the lane phase stops to buy boots/tear. Mid lane is the biggest trouble i have, if i ward better i should be fine, it'll be easy to get out of ganks with a number of options depending on who is doing what. Thanks for this anon even talking about it has helped open my eyes to a few things i need to do

In this mobile AD mid world, playing immobile mids like Anivia can be a real pain sometimes.

The sheer amount of time that's required for you to put into this game to get the "full experience" is retarded. No other way of describing it is precise. It's retarded. You need 1.000 games to have enough IP for two rune pages and most champions, level 30 of course and ranked experience. That's way too many hours of your life, it's retarded.

League is also perfect for people who are going through depressive moods. It fits nicely into a NEET/depressive/extreme shut-in lifestyle. My advice for people playing league: examine this game and what it represents to you deeply before continuing
