And a movie instead? Well. Let's not get into how much money companies make from successful films. You'll hate your minimum wage job. And let's face it, Blizzard will make a good film. Warcraft, for what it was, was a pretty fantastic film.

But I then state that if the story mode isn't free, which I'm sure almost anyone who loves the game will pay for it, then they're going to make almost double the same profit they had when then game launched.

It would please fans, and they'd make an incredible amount of money and double what they make off of the multiplayer game alone.

Think of it as two games. One has the multiplayer, the other an extended story campaign explaining the multiplayer. Hell, they can even make the campaign co-op to keep with the team-based theme of it all. Fuck. Idk. This is all out of the air. If they gave it serious thought, they could perfect this and be one of the most successful games they own. Besides WoW. Nothing will surpass WoW. Lol

The characters are mostly cool and the animation is fantastic but the stories themselves aren't great in any sense of the word, their just kind of generic and predictable albeit fun to watch. I think I remember this dude guessing shots for shot what the Hanzo/Genji short would be just based on previous shorts.

Same way that I think a TF2 or DOTA solo campaign would work, each character/class would get a few missions that are basically tutorials on how to play them while going through their lore. It teaches players how to use them while giving a single player experience. Have other characters/classes be almost mini bosses and create new shit as grunts/actual bosses that test the mechanics of the characters/classes

Kinda like this. Only probably more fluid. Cutscene, main group introduced, talon introduced, (like the first trailer), then you go through the different characters and lores, (cutscene, gameplay, cutscene, team objective, singular objective cutscene, rinse and repeat) playing each character and their story and how it leads them to join overwatch or talon. Then you have the battle-out at the end between the two classes. Possibly at this point you can choose your character and the others will be boots on your team, facing bots. (Or co-op if you actually have friends)

Remember the Uprising event? That but an actually full fledged game.

I stated in the original post, and further down that the campaign should be it's own game on its own disk or else it won't make any money.
They're not just gonna fucking give you a new game in a game for free. You already bought the fucking game knowing it was multiplayer only.
If they made a single player game based on the lore, it'll be like they're getting double what they're already making now.
