I used a Rumblepad 2 back in 2005 and the d-pad was the absolutely the biggest piece of shit on that controller. The entire d-pad is just a disc but there's no pivot in the center of it so if you accidentally press in too close to the center, the entire disc clicks in. So it's actually impossible to do a dp motion naturally. The analog sticks also have a square gate, who the fuck uses a square gate? The textured grip is probably the nicest thing I have to say about it.

anon, no modern game has been beyond decent. The Adventure games tried some things and did a lot wrong while the boost games refuse to experiment and are stuck being just okay. Generations is the most solid out of those games. Sonic hasn't been fully perfected in 3D yet.
