It's actually a plot point in LoK that a time traveling character can't die because he gets killed in the first game and that's simply how he's fated to die.

Real shame when you can tell someone put love into a product but just couldn't pull it off.

You had a button that jumps you back five seconds, but your original self still exists. To fight groups of enemies, you focus down one guy, then go back in time and help yourself out, rinse repeat until room is clear.

Fucking amazing idea, but everything else was poop.

Was thinking of making an indie game that did the same thing, but when you die you get a few seconds to bodyguard block your previous character, saving them from the arrow or sword blow. Then if you saved them they go back to your life pool.
