There are others, like the heretical priest, Martin Luther, who sin and feel sorrow, but, in their scrupulosity, the sorrow crushes them, and instead of coming to terms with it, they give in to a form of despair, saying they are all "born sinners" and "not justified by our works". They choose death instead of life in the face of their sinfulness.

People do have a natural concept of good and evil because every culture, even the ones where everyone goes to hell anyways like the Aztecs and Mayans, punish murder without cause.
