I lost count of how many times shitty looking games ran worse than actually good looking games that requires more of my PC.
Actually I was just playing Battlefield 1 again and its still amazes me at how well that game runs on highest settings.

I've been planning to get a PS4 for years but every time I'm about to pull the trigger, another two or three of the games I wanted get announced for the PC. Whether you like what the Switch has or not, you at least have to concede that it doesn't have this disadvantage.

And if one doesn't they probably should. Nintendo systems became compliment tier back during the 7th gen era. Worthwhile to own the systems for the rather large number of exclusives they get but it's highly recommended to have another gaming platform to go with it since 3rd parties are still iffy about supporting them. You don't want to feel left behind when every other platform gets thousands of games and Nintendo only gets hundreds.
