The rumor before was that there was NO hard mode on the base game, that Fusion mode was THE hard-mode, and you had to pay for it. Now it's come out that there IS a hard mode for free in the base game (after beating it on normal mode), and fusion mode is just an extra hard mode (but you still have to pay for it, which is retarded).

Standing and aiming is being promoted as a definitive feature. The sidescrollers are not about shooting things. If anything it's anti-Metroid in that it will destroy the pacing where prompt completion should be rewarded. Ignoring that the animation is stiff, the camera off-center. It doesn't look good.

From a purely objective standpoint, preordering gives you two of the nicer amiibo for the price of one at a discount. Don't get me wrong, amiibo should be purely cosmetic unlocks only and I really dislike how they've turned into actual overpriced DLC instead of fun collectable gimmicks, but you can't argue with a bargain. It's ten extra dollars, poorfag.
