It's too little too late. This is what people expected of current gen when it was new... not 3/4 through it. You know damn well these aren't the next gen consoles. They still have to make the next ones. But unfortunately all Sony has to do, is not fuck up again (hard I know) and it already has the most userbase. That Xbox stigma still hasn't really disappeared. And it's only gotten worse this gen with the resolution and framerate issues.


Now I'll be honest, the new xbox does solve that problem, but because it's targeting 4k many games like Ass creed are being made even lazier just to support it. They are missing animations, effects and other important features as well as dipping in framerate just to accommodate that new artificial demand for 4k. I just don't think 4k was a good idea to target. The XboneX (god that's such an awful name) should have targeted higher framerates at 1080p and maybe 2k if it wanted. But targeting 4k means more sub-30fps gaming and less detail and quality just to make the game fit on the disc and make the game actually run anywhere close to reasonable. This treadmill for completely irrelevant results at astronomical costs has got to stop. Hopefully this isn't something Sony targets or it'll kill both Sony and Microsoft.
