Honestly I think what made Earthbound good was the story and the unique and eccentric characters. The gameplay really wasn't that fun but you felt like you were making a difference as the game progressed.

Undertale wasn't even that good. Soundtrack was interesting not god level. And I wanna say this I really wanted to like it because it's nice when you like the popular things but I didn't really. Playing through it was a chore when I realised I have so many games I can't be bothered to spend one more minute playing something I don't wholeheartedly enjoy. I reached 80% of the game or so and quit.

This was only thrown on the first AC so people wouldn't throw a fit over the negative portrayal of the church. Not sure why they needed to keep adding to it but it's not that big of a deal.

In fps/tps games at least, bullet sponge enemies. I can't stand that shit and it's even more annoying when the game's harder difficulties just and only ramp up enemy hp.
I can understand some enemies having more health than others due to lore or whatever it may be but having to empty a mag into your everyday joe soldier's head just to put a dent into his health pool is infuriating.

No it wasn't. The original disclaimer only stated that it was made by a team of various religions and faiths. It wasn't so people wouldn't throw a fit over the church, but to give some sort of comfort to people who would go in thinking that the game being based during the Crusades would be biased against any one of the factions represented or make some kind of statement about religion. And it stayed that way all up through Unity. The whole "gender identity" and "sexual orientation" thing got added in for Syndicate.
