I'm stuck at the beginning of trails in the sky 2, should I even continue, I've heard it gets better but this is just terrible compared to the first game so far. I kind of just want to play cold steel games for the cute girls at this point.

There is turbo mode now in Sky games, if you feel things are going too slow.
But if you want to play CS then go for it. I actually was half way through of SC when I started CS myself.

I'm going to replay CS on PC now but the important question- do I pick a new waifu for new content or do I stay true?

I got interested of P5 at last few weeks before release, so I had no trouble avoiding spoilers with that.
Trails is just completely different and I just can't resist looking into these threads if I stay here. I somehow managed to play both Cold Steels before this without getting spoiled, so I'd like that to continue. Wasnt that lucky with FC and SC though.

Well the things which were spoiled for Persona were:

The bad ending where Potter dies
Goro being the traitor
Igor being a fake

If you've played the game, think about how important those points are to the overall plot.
It's not much really, it's <1% of the game.
I still enjoyed the experience just fine.

Also there were things I knew ahead of time playing through Trails for the first time, if I remember right I knew that:

Joshua and Loewe are brothers
Loewe dies
Renne defects
C is a traitor, and he dies

Knowing those things doesn't really matter too much to me, it's watching how they play out that matters.

I wish some spoilers wouldnt matter that much to me either. Avoiding the threads here and Falcom general for months sounds painful when I love the series so much.
