Personally my all time fav is Wizardy 8 (banter between party members is unparalleled). Ultima Underworld is a close second. Legend of Grimrock is great, as is Eye of the Beholder 1 and 2. Might and Magic 6, 7, 8 and 10 are excellent and worth playing.

Give a try to elminage origin, it has some really good graphic, fast pacing and it's not "i opened a treasure chest and it was full of spiders" kinda like many other crawler are
