I would say probably good old Ubisoft games like Rayman games, BGE, or Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia IIRC.
Arkane is also french so probably Dishonored 1-2 and Prey 2017.
Dofus and Wakfu MMO are made by Ankama and I think it is a french studio.

Why is E.Y.E so popular on this board ? I never did it but I thought it was a pretty mediocre game given the reviews. Is it a hidden gem that the press once again failed to understand ?

It's made with love, pushing the engine to some serious extremes.
It's pretty crazy, you get all sorts of stupid (fun) bullshit.
It's pretty confusing and indecipherable, before it was badly translated from french.
And it has like, 32 player multiplayer.
