The problem was it was the ps3/360 era and most of the games were multiplats and the ps3 almost ALWAYS got fucked with the worst version of the game. The exclusives were good because devs had to only work on one hardware set but those were far and few between and the 360 was just easier to develop for thanks to the ps3's retarded CELL tech.

I mean, at least the PS4 will probably get some exclusives later on like FF but then again those games will come to PS5. PS3-PS4 have both been pretty shitty I think. I've stuck with PC for ages. Only own Switch right now and can't even bother to buy another console even if I have the money for it. There's just not many exclusives anymore.

PS3 is a wonderful machine, with better exclusives than the PS4 had this point in the lifecycle. Free online too. I admire PS4 and all, but PS+ really kills it for me.

PS2 backward compatibility being a huge factor in why it is the best console ever made imo. I know fat PS3's have it too but I hear they are pretty much all dying now and there is more good PS2 games then there is PS3. At least the slim model PS3's still have BC for PS1. PS4 has none of this and not as good games which is a shame.
