Post a game you really like that belongs to a genre you usually hate
Can't stand early access open-world survival games with crafting, but this one is pretty good.
I don't like procedural-generated rogue-likes, I hate combat systems heavily influenced by RNG, I find creation of 2d games in XXI century to be an insult to the industry, and I especially detest lovecraftian horror, yet somehow I enjoy this game.

Movie games
So what's your opinion on Hidden Agenda?
I hate ''deep'' walking simulators

I have never heard of this.

Imagine if Until Dawn was a party game where players could fuck each other over.
>>386551505
i think this game is a good example of the genre
you end up having quite a lot of significant choice
it's visually very well made
it felt like a good horror movie and i usually don't like them
also Ashley letting chris die was a bit harsh imobut she's still best girl
better cinematic experience coming through. unlike untill disney this wasnt performed by 40 year olds trying to act like teenagers

What's wrong with 2D games?

pity the origami killer reveal was retarded, then again, David Cage games always go full retard towards the end

Instead it was performed by French people pretending to be American in a god-awful plot.
Heavy Rain was stand-out at it's time but Until Dawn is far better than it now.

>better cinematic experience
Yeah if you're a fucking retard who hasn't seen a film before. I like Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls only because how funny they are. You can't take that shit seriously, surely?
Hate turnbased usually but this was fun i guess. Felt like playing a turnbased dark souls with the atmosphere.

BTS had some pretty competent acting.
Too bad everything else in that game dragged the whole thing down.
Not really the genre but more like the series.
You get zero grav shooting sections, optional missions, space dog fighting, stealth infiltrations, killing jon snow, really suprised me how good the campaign was.
Then i saw that the next one is WWII and i stopped caring about the series again.

>how good the campaign was
c'mon dude between the really shitty relationship between the characters, the ridiculous writing of the bad guys ,the "everyone need to sacrifice so the game can get emotional"
compared to the previous opus (advanced warfare who was really great in this story and characters )
no now ,you get raping babies martian bad guys
one of the first sentence of john snow is "compassion is for the weak" and then he shoot his own men to prove his point
that game had goo idea badly exploited and a piss poor writing

The story always goes over my head in CoD with all the cheesy military jargon and everybody talking nonsense that i just ignore it.
I just play it for the spectacle, last CoD i played before this one was also really goofy (Blops).
Normally zombie games bore me to te
hope the second one isn't shit

The second one is literally the first one.
