Chapter 1 ends revealing everyone in that god forsaken village is a piece of shit, including the witch, and they had the beast coming. The skies are grey and it rains frequently, the music is melancholic, the aesthetic is that of some poor eastern european shithole. There really is a few truly virtuous people and they shine amidst the heap of trash. The atmosphere is just perfect and the story is well thought out and cleverly written througout the game. I don't give a shit about the books and how Geralt is portrayed in them.

Obviously Bethesda and Bioware aren't the only companies making RPGs, but they consistently produce some of the highest rated and best mainstream RPGs on the market.

Dragon Age is destroyed just like Mass Effect and more than likely we will never see another game from either series.

Not saying Fallout 4 didn't sell millions, just that it was not as good as previous games and was downgrading itself in many of its most important areas. Also, never said Skyrim was bad, I said Skyrim remastered was a cash grab shit job for a greedy company.
