Why are all their faces the same?

Card/loadout system and the number of champions lends a good amount of depth to the gameplay, but I feel like this is a game that's very fun at the beginning and burns out as you find what works the best and master the relatively low skill level.

Most of those girls are ugly. I love Evie's design but her personality and voice are insufferable, Ying and Maeve are cute, Skye is okay.

The rest are dumpster tier.

It's pretty much just the same crappy shit as Overwatch.

Fans of one game fight over who gets to dump on the other one but the truth is they're both terrible games you should feel ashamed of for supporting.

Not even kidding, but it feels like a bootleg overwatch in every aspect, although it's decent fun. It's way too easy which could be due to the fact that the game is F2P and infested with children and poorfags with bad internet connections.
Ranked ques are +20 minutes long, and ranked play seems to have sort of strict meta like every other "competitive" game out there. The card system is nice but there's the obvious best choices for everything and you rarely mix things up.

The stylization is IMO horrible and very few of the design choices work, not very memorable characters, poor map quality, if it had OW's budget, better engine and better artists, it would easily be the best one in the whole genre. Right now, all it has going for it is above average gameplay and character variety. It needs an extra kick to it to ascend it's current state.
It really has this "plastic toy" feel to it, but it's not a bad game by any means.

Dude, it's Hi-Rez. They've always had these problems, I had similar problems with Tribes, I had similar problems with Smite and now a fair share of problems with Paladins. I don't know how they manage to bring their problems to each of their games, but I expect them all to use similar software.
Just having their external launcher is enough to tell you that it's going to be a bumpy road.

My main issue with the game is the chest bullshit they push so fucking hard. I'd rather not have to spend money on a chest multiple times for a weapon or skin I want only to have to sift through shit.

Literally only play it for the kawaii grillz and not giving blizzcucks money
