Just beat Frogger. What's the best way to grind glory at this point in the game? I want to be the 70k girl but I don't want to wait weeks for the clan battles to give me enough. Coop and revenants don't give me nearly enough and I've never been able to find a PVP match.

Given the jump from way of the Strong to Way of the Demon, then the jump from Demon to Way of the Wise, it's a pretty big jump. If they add another loot class and difficulty level in the 3rd dlc then it's gonna be just as big.

Still once you get the better gear in the first few levels of each diff then it becomes much more manageable, so it all works out.

Yeah. The DLC even on the base difficulty level is pretty harsh, you'll definitely want greens in all slots for the first one, but it's doable without. DLC 2 is definitely made for you to have at least +7 or so greens in every equipment slot. It's a lot more unforgiving, but they give you plenty of tools to work around it, and the bosses for DLC 2 are really balanced in comparison to the first DLC's bosses.

I only liked the Centipede guy from the first DLC, Masamune and Maria both were poorly balanced and just hyper-armored through everything, while Sarutobi and Yukimura felt way more balanced.

Yeah Dragon of the North had great maps, the second one felt like the levels weren't quite as cool. The snow levels were pretty great. I liked the Siege level a lot better when I learned that the cannonfire during the volleys of arrows that destroys your cover tracks you, so if you go into cover at the last possible second it wont destroy the barricades. Also finding where the third cannon ball was so you can completely stop the arrows and explore as much as you want.

What's a good set to use for an Odachi/living weapon build? Only been using 2kats + random shit and recently ninjutsu kunai spam + kusarigama so I have no idea.

Guess I should put points in strength + stamina for damage and being able to wear decent armor. I'm supposed to forge the pieces, and the level is determined by the highest level mission I've finished, right? And then reforge until I get decent bonuses?

Is there anything in this game that can lower what is essentially enemies poise? I feel like I've wasted time unlocking new moves for weapons because I can only ever attack an enemy once before I have to run away because they ignore my attacks.

Whats a good weapon to compliment/replace 2kat? It was the first weapon type that clicked with me when I was trying weapons out early on in Way of the Samurai but I'm halfway through WoTD and its starting to get boring I guess. I have access to the DLCs so both DLC weapon are on the table as well

Did they make co op easy to access yet?
I had so much fun playing co op in the alpha and both betas.
But the actual game kind of restricts what missions you could play co op at some times and if you weren't a very specific level you just couldn't play co op on certain missions, let alone if you were that specific level, you couldn't play co op on 90% of the other missions cause you weren't at the specific level for those.
I don't know if that makes sense, but what it all comes down to is "can I play co op with anyone in any mission without feeling like I'm either super OP or useless because my difference in level with my partner?"

Mate it's second only to axe or odachi. Play around with it and you'll see that it does good ki damage relative to its moveset. It's not comparable to 2 handers, but that makes sense.

I almost never bother with specials (especially pulverize) and end up doing decent damage with high/mid stance. The amount of ki damage you can do means you'll be throwing grapples and final blows all over the place anyways. And that's without having an especially high skill value.

Is the warrior of the west set actually worth sticking with? Every repentant and their dog seems to be wearing it around level 50 (I'm on a first playthrough) and I barely every upgrade my shit cause I don't want to break the set bonuses- around when should I start looking for something better? The water katana I have has fucking insane mods also, and the only thing I have better is a raikiri I smithd myself.

If you get the Raikiri it gives bonus damage to electricity and enemies that get the electrified debuff.
Other sets also get these bonus but for other elements. If you're on a new game, get whatever gear gives you more stats since the only time you need to put thought into your gear is NG+.

You can still get good axes but most sets that revolve around the use of axes rely heavily on being a reckless berserker.
Ebony armour is one such case of this.

Again though, you can get through the game using whatever weapon you want the first time, but in NG+ you need to put thought into your equipment.
