Well another issue is also that Nasu isn't a good writer. He basically lucked out with F/SN in that he created something akin to Touhou: a canvas other more creative people could paint over. He then just swoops in later to rake in the profits from it. There is good reason why their non Fate attempts since F/SN have all either flopped or been buried in hiatus hell. There just isn't demand for it because they know he can't deliver.

Fate/Zero was probably the biggest defining point for Type-Moon to go mainstream, and that came from a different writer than Nasu. The Kara no Kyoukai movies hid the terrible characters and writing behind extremely pretty visuals and an impressive music score, and is now loved because of it. Melty Blood defined Tsukihime to the point to where a lot of people read the VN to learn more about the MB characters, as though MB came first.

Nasu is a good writer, though. And it's not like Fate was what put them on the radar. Nasu had some small degree of renown from KnK before they made games, and when Tsukihime came out it broke all records for the sales and success of a doujin game in Japan, and the spinoffs only added to its popularity. Fate was only a turning point in the sense that Type-Moon had changed from a doujin group to a proper company between making Kagetsu Tohya and it.
The real problem is that Nasu has been doing a whole lot of nothing while all these spinoffs have been written by other people, with Nasu only responsible for concepts. He needs to ditch the Tsukihime remake and Fate and go make something original again.

The primary issue with this is one of length, as well as ROI (return on investment). Fate's script is about as long as the Bible from what I've heard, so it's no easy undertaking. Even if it was translated, would it sell well? There's a possibility that almost everyone who wanted to read it already has.

DDD seemed fairly good. Something in that vein, or more Mahoyo, would be fantastic. Fuck, just give me dark urban fantasy with a weird fucked up protagonist again, because that's what all of his best works were.
He'll never find anything as marketable or with as much mass appeal as Fate, but that's only been used to let guest authors shit all over the original property with a billion bloated spin-offs. I'd rather have more stuff that comes from Nasu directly, more passion projects that expand the universe in meaningful ways instead of gimmicks like Servants.

And if he wants to use Servants, they should be scarce and feel extremely important. FGO trash has reduced them to toys in a factory line, the very presence of a Servant should be a huge deal like in FSN, not an everyday ocurrence. I think the way they've been mishandled for easy money is why it'd be better to move on to a different concept altogether.
