man, I just played this game and it's fucking awesome. So much customization, open maps, free style level completition. The last Metal Gear I played was Sons of Patriots.

I didn't like Kojima, but after playing PP, I have to realize that he is a really good game developer. The Fox Engine is even more impressive running in my toaster with enough aesthetics to make it look good.

whatever man, it's pure gameplay and performance porn. Kojima is a frustrated filmmaker, I am surprised that he did a game with a good gameplay. I am even more surprised with the japanese developers who made the Fox Engine. Most japanese programming is shit.

I thought it was alright, it's not gonna blow anyone away in terms of mechanics but the visuals and atmosphere were worth the 5 bucks or so I paid for it. The scale of that scene with the blue whales gave me a real feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach, games don't usually pull that off.
