Nioh and Crash are the only ones worth playing, unless you really, really like JJBA, then I guess you include that.

I get Crash personally, since the Stormy Ascent level is still free at the moment and they did enough good changes as well in my opinion.

Of those I only bought Crash which is a fairly terrible remake. No effort made to be true to the originals, and none made to improve upon it.

Horizon looks like the sort of game where you know exactly what you'll get. I thought it looked like an ugly sci-fi Far Cry.

The Surge I've seen on Amazon but not really heard of

I didn't like the anion demo too much. That really disappointed me. Then I heard the full game is repetitive. However, of any of these that is probably the one I'd get.

Horizon is another open world AAA snoozefest filled with ugly "diversity" characters.
JoJo is okay.
The Surge is forgettable.

The Surge is more garbage halfassed souls shit from the Lords of the Fallen people, Horizon is an openworld boring shitfest with the most annoying protagonist on the planet that can't shut the fuck up for half a goddamn minute, and Jojo is meme shit that you might like if you actually like the show/manga.

They claim it to be a "true remaster", "faithful to the originals" yet they changed one of the most important things without adjusting the levels to accommodate for new collision detection. Which makes the game pretty broken if you ask me. Still worth playing but anyone who goes in expecting good time like in the originals is going to be disappointed.

Go with Nioh if those are your only options., HZD isn't bad but it's kinda everything /v/ hates - QTEs, cinematic trash, press A to win, empty open world, forced diversity/token characters etc. Not great, mediocre. Surge is also mediocre, forgettable. Crash is great but the broken collisions (well technically not broken, but changed from originals and not adjusted to actual level design) will drive you mad. No opinion on JoJo as I haven't played it (and not planning to)
Also, consider Yakuza games, Gravity Rush games, Bloodborne, Persona 5, Dragon Quest Builders, WipEout.

I mean crash's game is the best deal possible for 3 full games (plus a specia extra level of a never before released level) at less then 50 bucks. It's pretty good for a revamped platformer (I'm sure you've heard the memes but trust me, the jump thing is greatly exaggerated. It's playable).

If you're really into Jojo, why not buy their game? EoH is pretty fun both with friends and just to mess around with solo.

Nioh it good if you like Feudal Japan history, mythology and if you want to play something that's similar to but not really like a game from the soulsbounre series with a good emphasis on weapon balances/variety and challenging bosses/missions.

I have no clue what to say about Horizon zero dawn so I'm not gonna suggest anything. Same with surge which is a literal who to me.

eh, I enjoyed both of them, they are at least worth checking out for unique gameplay, but I can see how most people may not like the way camera and combat works.

WipEout is great if you want decent ultra fast racer with tight turns at mach 2 speeds. Also, 2 great games and a DLC for the half of the price of one new AAA game.

Horizons combat is pretty engaging if your into it. YMMV. My favorite out of the ones you listed.

Nioh is kind of lame imo. The level design was incredibly boring and the lack of enemy variety really wore down on me quick.

I enjoyed Nsane Trilogy but Crash doesn't hold up super well honestly.
