Prove it isn't a scam or prove that it is.

>Has a Kickstarter ever not been a scam?
What's the concept of this? A controller that works on multiple platforms? If so what makes that different from most bluetooth controllers on the market?
>>386513337
That new game Yooka and Laylee looks pretty good.
>>386513168
It's not going to be good and feel cheap. A modular USB controller adapter with swappable male input plugs and an internal battery for Bluetooth may have been neat. Remove the need to build a expensive cheap feeling controller.

Judging from the kickstarter page they made it work on consoles as well. It works on computers, consoles, cell phones, and it looks like the screen can remap any button and change anything on the fly.
They have a video that shows it off:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1811189679/all-controller-universal-and-fully-customizable
>>386513168
it's not a scam, and I can prove it!
>>386513967
I'm doubting it has MFi and iCade support at the same time. iOS is shit to make controllers for.
>>386513843
How much would they need to raise to make it not feel cheap? Are they just 3D printing these?
>>386513967
Really the only thing that interested me from the video was button remapping. I have no clue why but game devs these days hate to give players the ability to remap buttons.
>60 dollars
>wired controller
>70 dollars
>wireless controller
You know, I love controllers, I buy a lot of them. But fuck this device.
>>386514360
If you have Steam you can remap all buttons on all controllers.
Hell I was able to use the steam controller on Windows 10 games.
>>386514360
That's what I like. When big N doesn't give you remap options shit like this helps.
>>386514429
I think that's Canadian. So it's way less in non-monopoly money.
>>386514178
If they keep with the design in image left four buttons will be uncomfortable. Same issue happened with NVIDIA controller design. I don't know how much things cost but remember valve dropped screen for increasing production cost. It's not about how much raised but finding production for and show company they will keep getting sales enough to keep them with production.
>>386514519
Steam controller is dog shit though IMHO.
>>386514628
What left four buttons?
>>386514594
>55.24 burger bucks
Well shit, I mean it's right along most controllers. But I just picked up a Shield controller to go with my Steam, GXP, PS4 and XBO controllers.
This one has a paddles underneath so I might snag it at that price.
>>386514682
SC is more for comfy play then it is competitive. I like it for any game that requires a mouse that I can play relaxed.
>>386514825
True, it's damn hard to play anything on a couch that uses a keyboard an mouse. Even tried that air mouse bullshit a few years back. Awful.
>>386513168
Scam? No. Is it worth the money though? That's the question.
>>386514812
I get direction wrong right buttons. I don't see reason for all controller if Xbox and PlayStation support PC. I don't see much money with project.
>>386513168
How is it a scam?
They invested quite a bit of money already and was proven it works on PC Xinput only but not for console yet. The prototype D-pad is broken too low, loose and clicky.
>>386515497
https://youtu.be/AqDERlWePlE
Here this guy tested everything and was very sceptical.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RX4eyPil6aQ
update video that shows it working on console.
>>386515367
The Dpad on the Shield Gen 2 is actually really fucking satisfying with it's click.
>>386513168
It needs to prove itself as not a scam to others. Which isn't hard, see solar roadways or whatever.
It might not be a scam, but even if the controller did function properly it's probably made of cheap plastic shit. If they made something like this with:
>Wii U Pro battery life
>PS4 design
>Xbone build quality
>Good finish
then I'd easily pay a hundred bucks for it
>>386513168
>xbox layout
just throw it in the trash
>>386516115
Its made of the same plastic xbone uses, even that same smooth material finish.
>>386516274
They offer both xbox and playstation layouts. I think xbox looks better imho.
>>386516674
Is that a metal d-pad?
Remember the Ouya's controller?
>>386516752
Yeah that was some bad shit. Problem was they charged the same amount these guys are charging for both the Ouya and the controller. Ouya was always doomed to fail.
>>386513168
I think this controller was co-created by Rerez. I'm pretty sure that's his voice in the video.
