I like 64 more than TTYD, but there's no way you can say it's a better game. Everything in TTYD is done better. More creative locations and characters, better writing, more developed characters and storylines. Probably the most new mario creatures and content than any other mario game with only sunshine or galaxy competing. The soundtrack in TTYD in particular was fucking amazing. Both of the games are great, and without 1 there wouldn't have been a 2, but TTYD is just an objectively better game. The ability to continue after the final boss makes it even more clear.
