Nothing really. Robin is the only character that doesn't have a prioritized partner. Awakening's MC Chrom for example, has prioritized supports with Sumia, and they show up in CG cutscenes together, with Sumia holding baby Lucina with all the implications.

Some conversations with certain characters change if Robin is married to them, but that's not unique to Lucina.

Beyond that I want to see someone bringing a moveset into play that isn't totally locked into the Fire Emblem triangle. Hyrule Warriors had the whole Zelda mythos to pull from so the bar is already set pretty high for moveset diversity. There's some neat things I'm seeing but I want it to be really diverse.

Roster aside, in Awakening(and Fates) Chrom had a pretty good knowledge of previous FE legends. He can talk about Ike's adventures, and gets obviously excited to duel Ike and likewise gets caught off guard by how polite Arvis is compared to his perceptions of the villain of Genealogy of the Holy War. Chrom's doing just fine in his interactions with Ryoma(and it'll be fun to see Matthew Mercer talk to himself come localization), but his interactions with Marth from the previewed supports feel kind of sterile. Cynical frontline prince talks to idealistic prince.

It was neat to see a character with a reverence like you had for older titles, but as they existed as part of the history of his world and I want to see that utilized.

Pre-Awakening was really dry and cheap in its presentation, and had fallen into a pattern that it didn't like deviating from. The Ike games actually emphasized the problem. It was their chance to give Fire Emblem a shiny new package for the 3D era. Instead, we got more generic early 90s anime designs with cheap, washed out 3D models and no big improvements to gameplay. It's a sad state of affairs when the 3DS entries (pic goddamn related for emphasis) are prettier games than the Gamecube entries on account of the fact that somebody actually tried.
