I got my scorch to G9 the other day. It confounds me how many players underestimate him and think it's a good idea to fight one in close quaters.

It's on his back glowing green. He has to jump I'm his titan or on the back of a teammate to use it.
If he's killed, he'll drop it and you can take it back.
Its just used to heal titans

Someone jumped onto your titan and stole a portion of your health (your battery). They can use this battery to either heal their own titan or a friendly titan. Having no battery will also leave you vulnerable to pilots who can jump onto you a second time and plant a grenade which will deal heavy damage or even outright kill you.

You can of course simply kill the pilot that stole your battery and pick it back up.

I bought this game yesterday and I love it.

I've only tried Ion and Northstar so far but I can already tell Northstar is my dude. Still kind of learning the basics but I've been preforming pretty well so far overall.
