I recently re-played and planning made all the difference, if you're quick you can just dart everyone that moves and a single EMP grenade will take out the robot. It's pretty damn hard keeping undetected during this but I was able to do it the last time around in just a few tries.

That hurts the most because it is literally impossible for anyone to save her. Killing the monster for her does nothing, in fact it contributes to her own sense of weakness and helplessness, which is why she's stuck there in the first place, forever fighting an unwinnable battle.

I quicksave about every 30 seconds, but that's only because Bethesda engine games seem to crash-to-desktop at literally any moment on my machine. I don't want to have to replay bits because of a CTD.

If a character I like dies, they are dead and I won't change it. I like when that can happen. It's like an emergent story. Emergent stories is one of the best things about open world RPGs.
