Which new act is your favorite?

Fall of Oriath was truly some underwhelming trash. After realizing that acts 6-10 are literal repeats of content with slight changes in graphics, I stopped caring for the game altogether. I can't stand the forced, infinite RNG grind to get anywhere anyway.

Act 8 probably. I like the Lunaris/Solaris map split, and the Doedre and Lunaris/Solaris boss fights.

I like PoE but I kind of agree with you. They really dropped the ball on everything that wasn't a boss. 5 new acts sound amazing untill you see how little new content they've actually added.
The major addition of the expansions was unironically the re-balance.

Yeah, I liked act 8 most as well. Dodre fight was awful imo, but Godesses were one of the best. The mirror jumping thing was alright.
The bridge between solaris/lunaris is probably my favourite zone in the game, shame it's not really farmable.

Anyways I agree that 3.0 is rather dissapointing. The bossfights are mostly good, but there is way too many of them, it's really tiring. Final boss is pure cancer as well, lol @ map version if it ever gets it. Game wasn't really changed much aside from that, I don't really care for DoT and beside them the game is pretty much the same. 2.0 was way bigger deal.

Now that I'm in maps it's really an empty feeling. The league is shit, nothing really changed much, there are some new mobs, but that's it. Most dissapointing PoE xpack imo.

Game is allright but you know what, I started to play PoE after new version came out and felt bored. I finished Act1 to 3 in one sitting and after that I started to feel that I'm just clicking and running. I'm using fire witch build so maybe that's the fault, it feel pretty monotonous to just spam firestorm all the time.

This made me try Diablo 3 as new season started out on that as well and... D3 is more action packed for sure. But it's more shallow, made for instant gratification in mind and shorter gameplay sessions in mind as well.

Can someone recommend a "fun" build in PoE? Fun is all relative of course but something which requires bit strategy instead of just standing and spamming one key all the time.

Dunno about you, but the fun in PoE to me is creating interesting characters. Playing the game itself as you said is kinda monotone and to me it's just a test to see if my therocyrafing was a success.

I can't really think of anything that doesn't involve standing and spamming, maybe summoners, but playing them is cancer.
