What an awfully specific thread for a 3 year old game nobody plays anymore
>>386464650
People still play this game?
>>386464851
>>386465012
People do still play, and they mistakenly think they are better than the Melee players.
>>386465236
It's possible that they're better at their game than any rando Melee player. I can't beat a lot of my friends in 4, yet most of them can hardly get a stock on me in Melee.

> Playing Smash seriously
> Playing Sm4sh seriously

I don't think you 2 stocked him. I think you got wrecked by that awful Cloud player otherwise you wouldn't have made a thread about it in anger.
I don't understand the hate that 4 gets. Someone care to enlighten me? After 10+ of melee, I am burnt out on that one. Smash 4 offers way more variety, the characters are much more balanced, and my dude Mewtwo is actually good in 4.
>>386465710
10+ years, that is
>>386465549
He switched to Villager, I two stocked him with Yoshi, and he quit. I dunno why, but he did.
>>386464650
why is he even in smash?
>>386465710
The devs refuse to even acknowledge the competitive side of this game series and don't want to make it more mechanically interesting or deep. It's pretty insane how anti-consumer Nintendo is as a company
Charizard is top 15

I understand that Melee is a much more technical game that requires a great deal of skill to play. However, it's not like 4 is a wholly deficient version of melee. Are we going to act like Sm4sh pros couldn't hold their own in a melee tournament if they applied themselves to practicing and getting better?
What are your qualms with this game, specifically? Your remark is vague to someone who hasn't a clue why one would draw such a harsh division between the games.

Agreed.
Another Sm4sh redpill: Bowser Jr. is mid-tier.

Both of you are spastics. Smash is a terrible series for competitive play.
It's like trying to win in the special Olympics, it's nothing to be proud about.
