The "proof" that was released was a young woman saying she regretted sending Nick lewd materials last year (though no actual nudity). She said that she was 18 and he was 26 and that he shouldn't have gone after an impressionable young person who idolized him.

I can see where she's coming and how she regrets it but that does not put Nick at fault. Also him sending "Send Nudes" through some dumb picture is not harassment if she doesn't say "I'm gonna have to ask you to stop messaging me." Unless Polygon gets its hands on some truly scandalous shit that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Nick Robinson was harassing tons of women then there is no reason to terminate his work there

I tried reading up on it but the origins of the recent sexual harassment allegations are murky at best.
He made some rude comment to the Overcooked devs regarding a poorly-made port on the Switch and some twitter users started making comments implying that he was harassing multiple women in game development.
The only people who mentioned Nick by name were people who said basically "I heard stories but they weren't mine to tell". Anyone who vague-tweeted didn't provide any sort of proof and didn't mention Nick by name. Stuff like "nobody wants to be the one to tell", implying that proof exists that things happened, but nobody wants to provide it, for some reason.

The only real indicators that these allegations are true are the fact that Griffin said he was saddened and that Polygon suspended him for an investigation, but I couldn't find the actual source of the original allegation against Nick.

Unless they caught him absolutely red handed, like the guy announced his intention to solicit a minor while a manager was looking over his shoulder, and then went ahead and did it, there would be a suspension prior to a termination. People rarely just terminate people straight up without going through some sort of institutional process, even in at-will employment in a right-to-work state.
