Xbone has backwards compatibility and collections like Rare Replay that are definitely well worth their price. It also has the better online service and the more user friendly interface, and games overall have a higher attach rate, where as on PS4, I've noticed that certain multiplayer games tend to die out quicker.

PS4 generally has the higher amount of exclusives, though unless you're a weeb or choose to play multiplats on PC, it's honestly not as great as everyone makes it out to be. If you like cinematic experiences and remasters/remakes, then yeah, it's pretty good, especially if you really want to play Bloodborne.

The Xbone has the better game library.

PS4.

Both are garbage and you'll be able to buy them sub-$200 in a year, wait for the next gen consoles they'll be out soon.

But Boost Mode handles framerates. There are PS4 exclusives that won't head to PC, so if someone doesn't want to wait for emulation, it's not a bad option

i have both. i haven't turned on my ps4 in almost 2 months now after beating persona 5. i have been using my xbone to beat older games i missed like lost odyssey, phantom dust, and catherine. theres nothing upcoming for ps4 im looking forward to, except for death stranding which will probably be a ps5 game, and ffvii remake, which will probably be on xbone anyway. the only ps4 games i have are bloodborne, nioh, nier automata, persona 5, gravity rush remastered (havne't started yet) and uncharted 4. (pack in). the only 2 other games i am planning on getting for it are gravity rush 2 if i like the first one, and yakuza 0 when i finish the ps3 titles. there isn't much i'm looking forward to on xbone either though, crackdown 3 is a maybe, and same with state of decay 2. overall, i guess if you missed a lot of the 360 library, but still want some new games, xbone. if you are more japanese game oriented, ps4.

I agree, I do not know how anyone could think the Xbox One has a better UI than any other console. It's the worst console UI that I have ever seen. It's full of ads, slow, and takes a long time to find what you're looking for. There's no consistency to the design either, if you're in a game you interact with it differently than if you're on the home screen. Everything requires more button presses as well.

Overall I'd probably say PS4. Xbone has hit around $200 quite a few times already so I wouldn't pay the same price for it as PS4 when you can wait and get it cheaper. Wait for black friday and you can probably find both for a bit over $200. This gen has been nice with the price drops in a timely manner.

That's great. I can get a either a PS4 or Pro now for exclusive stuff like Yakuzas and later a a cheaper Bone SXl One XL One for the shit i missed like Lost Odissey.
