Is this worth playing?

I can't bring myself to do so.
For the art styles is too cartoonish, like LoL or WoW, too bright and gay.

Yes. Get the Synegies mod. The base game is pretty easy even on elite if you're used to these type of games (ie, can use common sense with stat/skill builds).

Synergies is a lot harder and makes it so it's more fun.
It also has a lot of mods. Some fun. Some not fun. Some OP. Some insanely difficult.

And don't worry if you play to act two and end up wanting to install Synergies right away. Just go ahead and do it.

It was alright when there weren't many ARPGs on the market but it doesn't hold up well now. Grim Dawn/PoE and even those Van Helsing/Victor Vran or whatever games just feel better.

It's pretty fun, only thing wrong with it is if you don't do the side quests you'll be underleveled

Yes, especially with friends. Really good coop game.

If nothing else, TL2 is moddable.
