Don't bother with it, it has a horrible loot system which fucks you over in the long run and means you can't make any meaningful progression. Loot boxes are limited to one a day and you might get one piece of shit loot or a dupe, and pretty early on you'll hit a wall that you can't progress past due to shit gear.

Only issue with loot is that it is not shared amoung the team (except gifts) and it's tedious. Other than that it is not nearly as bad as you describe.

Fortnite is incredibly fun, but I swear the god the pay system and the shitty way the devs have presented the game i going to kill it very quick.

When you pay for early access you get lots of shit with it and will be getting more shit when it's officially released.
Some of you probably haven't even seen the gameplay and are just bitching about the price with no context.
There is plenty of gameplay videos you can watch online or read about how people feel about it.

The game isn't perfect but I was very surprised how fun it is and how much depth there is for such a cartoony game.

People's stupidity knows no bounds. Unfortunately this is the natural evolution of bullshit that started with preorders. It use to be you'd preorder a couple of months in advance to ensure that there was a copy of the game for you when it released and all you had to do was put down $5 and pay the rest the night the game released now mouth breathers are preordering a year in advance at full price. We seriously need to rethink about our moral stance on euthanasia and taking warning labels off products to start cleaning up the gene pool.
